100 Word Rant on Why Creamy Peanut Butter is Better Than Crunchy

Lauren Lubenow, Editor in Chief

Crunchy peanut butter is a titanic disgrace to the world as we know it. Can we even call it peanut butter? The Oxford Dictionary states the definition of peanut butter as “A paste of ground peanuts, usually eaten spread on bread.” This definition uses the word ‘paste’ and that is exactly what crunchy peanut butter is not. Crunchy peanut butter isn’t even peanut butter! It’s hard to spread and it detracts from the classic peanut butter sandwich. I prefer the creamy ORIGINAL peanut butter which, again, is real peanut butter. Who wants chunks in their peanut butter anyway? Not I.
