Mexico, located directly under the US, is a popular spring break destination. Known for its beautiful beaches and amazing weather, it’s not hard to see why. There are numerous cities that tourists visit throughout the country, some of the more popular ones being Cabo, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Barceló.
Besides visiting the beach and pool, students visiting Mexico should consider venturing out and exploring more of the country. Xel-Ha Park, located in Cancun, Mexico, is a popular travel destination for many tourists. Known for its snorkeling, lazy river, and cliff jumping, this natural water park has activities for tourists of all ages.
Tourists looking to visit natural attractions should visit El Arco, located in Cabo, Mexico, and the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, located in Tulum, Mexico. El Arco, or Lands End, is a striking rock formation leading into the ocean. Tourists looking to visit El Arco have a variety of options to do so, the majority of them being boat tours. The Mayan Ruins of Tulum are located in Tulum, Mexico, which is near Cancun. These ruins are of an ancient Mayan city built in the late thirteenth century, known once as a functional seaport.
Apart from waterparks, Mexico offers many different activities in each of its “vacation cities” like snorkeling, parasailing, scuba diving, sailing, etc. Whether you’re into exploring the country or tanning at the beach, Mexico is a great destination for travelers of all kinds.
